Lightwaves Mode

Love Beams is a multi-mode delay, filter and reverb pedal. There are 8 modes total - here we experiment with the 'Lightwaves' mode. Lightwaves is a uniquely modulated band pass filter, fed into a delay with an overdriven chorus in the feedback path. It offers everything from subtle, radiant echoes to deep, swelling pulsations. Though it sounds lovely on guitar - here we simply loop 1 bar of an iconic drum break and process it in a traditional 'dubwise' fashion.

Design notes - TIME simultaneously controls the delay time, the chorus modulation rate and the modulation rate of the filter cutoff frequency. FEED controls the delay feedback amount. LOVE controls the modulation depth and filter resonance. The TONE knob serves as a master tone control (sweepable from low pass filter to high pass filter) for the output signal.
